Joseph Baldacchino - Skipper
Joe is the skipper of The Gaffer and our most experienced fishing captain having spent his lifetime fishing in Malta waters. Over the years his fishing adventures have been numerous and he has taught many people how to fish. Joe has a passion and drive towards fishing that few can match, everybody who has fished with Joe has commented on how easy going he is, yet when that reels goes off he switches into hardcore fishing mode. If you're wondering whether Joe goes out on trips with a smaller boat, he is available for trips on Eagle One upon request.
Nick Palmer-Morewood - Skipper
Nick is the skipper of Never Say Die II and has been boating in Maltese waters since he was a toddler; his experience ranges from RIBs to larger boats and he was the skipper of a 32 foot Windy for around 12 years. Nick's primary interest is offshore trolling for pelagic species which he has been doing for the past five years, and recently he started jigging in local waters. If you go out on a trip with Nick you can expect to be hunting down Albacore, Bluefin Tuna (catch and release), sailfish and dorado...... if it's been a quiet day trolling then the time might be right for some serious jigging.
